INFORMATION FOR CONTRIBUTORS
Lepidoptera Science is quarterly published in annual volumes by the Lepidopterological Society of Japan. Members of the Society are invited to submit for publication, original articles written in English or Japanese concerning various aspects of Lepidopterology.
In the preparation of manuscripts, contributors are requested to follow the style used in recent issues of Lepidoptera Science. Each manuscript should be accompanied by a short abstract and a running head, and prepared on A4 size pages. Text, figure legends and tables should be included in a single file (MS Word [.doc] or RTF [.rtf]). Figures in digital files at submission of manuscripts should be small in size. Authors who are unable to prepare figures in digital files may send them as a hard copy. Original figures should not be sent until the manuscript has been accepted for publication. The length of the article will be ordinarily limited to 12 printed pages. Authors will be charged for articles comprising more than 12 printed pages (JPY5,000 per page).

). Acceptance for publication will be decided by the Editor-in-Chief.
One first proof will be sent to the contributor for correction. The corrected proof is to be returned immediately to the Managing Editor. Reprints may be obtained on payment. The number required should be specified when the article is submitted. Original figures will not be returned unless requested by the author.

Apology and corrigenda
In the proofreading of the issue of Trans. lepid. Soc. Japan, vol. 57, no. 1, an error was most unfortunately overlooked. On page 52, color photographs numbered 8-10 were mis-scanned, and Fig. 9 became the same as Fig. 8, true Fig. 9 became Fig. 10, and true Fig. 10 was not printed.
A replacement sheet for page 52 was sent together with the next issue of Trans. lepid. Soc. Japan, and is here uploaded in our home page. We, the editorial board, should be grateful if subscribers would kindly please check or download this page. We sincerely apologize to the authors for this mistake.

YADORIGA
YADORIGA is published quarterly now. It provides informations concerning any aspects of butterflies and moths including not only articles, reports, short communications, book reviews and so on, but also the news and announcement for the members of LSJ. Most articles etc. are written only in Japanese, but some of them are written in Japanese with English summary.

This volume comprises 28 papers read at the International Symposium on Butterfly Conservation held at Osaka Prefecture University, Osaka, Japan, on 20-21 August 1994.
